I just purchased guitar pro 6. I’ve looked at every menu. I don’t see any documentation/instructions “in the software” at all. Give me a hint where it is please.

There are no user’s guides in the software I’m afraid. Anyway, you can access several resources to learn how to use Guitar Pro 6:
