Of clinics and riffs, and other Guitar Pro appearances

Benjamin Sertelon is a charming young musician who works with Julien Desbordes, another young, charming musician.

He is a music teacher, and you’ll discover his website if you but click on the banner above.

You can discover Benjamin’s and Julien’s profiles on our Artists page. The cool thing about those two is that they exemplify the ways in which Guitar Pro can be used to communicate your music out to people.
Most notably, Benjamin manages the Riff du Mois (Riff of the Month) section on laguitare.com, and publishes his playbacks for download, for you to practice with. In both cases he uses Guitar Pro 6 for his work, and the results are rather impressive. I invite you to visit his pages, by clicking the link in this article.

Julien also works with Guitar Pro on his two sites, Guitare-Méthode and Guitar Connection, to offer lessons and tutorials to guitarists all over. It’s great to see that not only does technology not impede our creative abilities, it actually supports it. Guitar Pro thus makes is so easy not to publish music on the Web!

Another teacher and cool guitarist, Norman K Anderson plays the guitar in Alaska, which is rather an intriguing notion to me.

I would think that your fingers would be too cold there, but why not.

Anyway, Norman is representing Guitar Pro for our US distributor eMedia, and he conducts clinics whenever he has the opportunity to do so. His next one will take place at Mammoth Music in Anchorage, AK, probably in the 3rd or 4th week of January, and we’ll make sure to announce it. He has already sent us some pics of the last one he did (posted here, left and right of this text). Norman also happens to me a very nice and friendly person, and a productive music pedagogue. Do check out his work, and say hi if you happen to be in Alaska in January. I would have gladly gone myself, but I can’t find my gloves… :)

As for lessons about how to use Guitar Pro, you may already be aware that we are going to be releasing a series of video tutorials.
