Ukulele Boudoir and Le Fou du Roi

Ukulele Boudoir and Le Fou du Roi

A couple of months ago a new French initiative to promote the ukulele contacted us, and asked us if it would be alright to post up some GPX ukulele scores available for download. A very nice gesture, which let us know how polite and respectful those guys were.

Little did we know that the summer on the French public radio “France Inter” would be marked by the presence of Ukulele Boudoir!

A very nice, inviting website, Ukulele Boudoir already has 4000 visitors a month, after only three months have passed since it first appeared. It now offers 10 new scores, and will be posting a new one on average every two weeks.

Of course, if you do not speak French, you can always visit the other very friendly Ukulele Hunt; but for those of you who look for info on the life and news of the ukulele in France (most notably on Paris plage, it looks like!), well, Ukulele Boudoir promises to become your new favorite website.

At any rate, we like the tone and the quality of this new site, and we’ll be looking forward to supporting those guys.

Love the program but over the years have tried to contact the company about minor problems to no avail. Recently tried to upgrade to 6.0 but problems with the validation. Again tried to contact the company but as always they will not respond. Good program, disgusting support.

    Hi Troy,
I think I just replied to your request on getSatisfaction, our community-powered support.
We do maintain our traditional tech support, and as I have told you we’ve been somewhat swamped, lately. Just so you know, we are not a very big company in terms of how many people work here, and it is sometimes hard to find time to handle the support.
But we do our best! 🙂

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
