The guitar
This Solar guitar is perfect for lovers of big and powerful distortions and metal sound.
The maple neck is thin and easy to handle. The heel (the junction between the neck and the body of the guitar) is sculpted to facilitate access to the upper frets.
The C-shaped neck runs through the body of the guitar, it is called a “set-thru” neck or as indicated on the Solar Guitars website a: “Set-Through all” neck.
This model is equipped with an Evertune bridge, this system not only allows you to keep your guitar tuned at all times, but also allows you to adjust the string pitch, intonation, and accuracy of your instrument. A pretty little Evertune key in the shape of a guitar will be provided to help you adjust all this in no time at all.
Solar’s “Type S” range offers modern electric guitars made for heavy and fast riffs.
For the moment the S.1.6ETC guitar is only available in carbon black matt.
Many artists have already joined the brand new Solar Guitars family, like the guitarist Martin Larsson from the band “At The Gates”, one of the pioneers of the Swedish death metal scene.
